The idea for a company like the Surf Academy - an aloha driven surf travels company owned and run by two Swedish surfers - was found on the North Shore of Oahu in the mid-nineties when we set out to fulfill our long sought dreams, the pilgrimage to the Mecca of surfing - to surf everyday on world class spots. It took us ten years to conceptualize our ideas. Our mission is to spread Aloha throughout Scandinavia.
The Surf Academy travels where the waves are. In the summertime our destination is the birthplace of surfing in Europe - Biarritz in France. In the winter we surf the perfect waves that hit the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. New for 2008 is our live abroad surf trip to the paradise islands of the Maldives.
